Shorts became longer, and their fullness increased. A variety of simple knit tops were worn in the summer with skirts, shorts or lightweight pants. The baseball cap became the headware of the decade for young men. As the decade wore on, it was also adopted by young women. Since those who chose to wear it usually kept it on their heads constantly, it was said to be a cover-up for a bad hair day. Picture (150x165, 4.9Kb)
