n Wednesday and Thursday evenings of last week Miss Allen and Miss Zimmerli
entertained friends at a Swiss Dinner Party. The table was set in typical Swiss style. The center-piece
consisted of a miniature Swiss Mountain or chain of mountains which was about six feet long and one and a
one half feet wide. At the base of the mountain were the little trees and huts and beautiful green grass
which gradually became grayer and grayer as one looked further up the one looked further up the mountainside.
The mountain top was covered with snow. Also at the base of the mountain were some of the
beautiful Swiss
Lakes. The entire centerpiece was made by the �Artist Evans�. The menu consisted of the following: Cream
of Potato Soup, Veal Balls in Pastry cases, Chicken, Cauliflower, Green Beans, Lettuce, French Dressing,
Moulded Ice, Forte, Grape Juice, Ginger Ale, and Coffee.
he serving was done by the Senior girls. The cooking and baking etc. was done by Seniors, Juniors, Sophomores
and some of Miss Zimmerli�s High School girls. Thirty eight people were served.
